Long story short, I just don’t want to lose caching because people break laws, put others in danger unnecessarily, or tarnish the image of caching while there are folks out there who try hard to make it family oriented and enjoying for the rest of us.

Szuchie, maybe I'm just not getting what you are saying. Give me some examples for what you mean by breaking laws, unnecessary danger and image tarnishing of geocaching. I'm sure we ALL know some caches that have been placed by our friends (not mentioning any names ) that have not received permission, are dangerous and could potentially give Geocaching / Geocachers a bad rep. You agree with me about the illegally placed caches but then go to make the statement above? Clarification requested...

It's really cold and blowing outside so I thought I would stir this place up again.

I would like to thank HC for some interesting Caches during our lull period this winter. Both were real containers BTW. :D Gigapixel gave us a few good hours indoors looking at Dresden but I am glad I don't have to do that again for a while. Then he came up with Walk the line. Now I know there were a bunch of people that walked the line many times. Some even mentioned 6 miles of walking the line. WOW  I guess I just got lucky and was able to spot it the first time I walked the line. :D I guess the Tracker's eyesight is not as bad as he thought. I just can't imagine WHY nobody saw that on the first try. But once again I am glad that one is over too. I have done a lot of walking in that SGLs over the past couple of years. I actually did more walking to track down "What time is it" than I did for " Walk the Line"

One thing I did learn from Walk the Line though. ALWAYS take your camera. There were some great ice formations I would like to have gotten a good shot of but all I had was my phone.. It takes terrible pictures.

i'm not crazy about lpc's, but ill grab them if i happen to be there. other than that, i just hit whatever strikes my fancy at the time. some days i want to hit easy stuff and just kill time, other days i want to push my limits physically and see what i am made of.
why not just let everyone place whatever legal caches they want, and everyone can go find the ones they want to? i am with Redtail, you cant take a little kid on a 5/5, but that doesnt mean that everything has to be 1/1.

life, liberty and the freedom to hunt for any cache i so choose.

I'd love it if everyone adhered to that practice Hock2.
